The corporate name of pmr (abbreviated) is “Prevention, Management, Resolution Europe”. In 2005, Coralie Smets-Gary and Martine Becker, who have known each other since university, with their experience as lawyers, trained in mediation and principled negotiation, created a twin-focused organization: training and services. Its vocation from the outset was to cover the entire lifespan of conflict with a focus on Prevention. As the Name in English suggests, the desire is to be multilingual and to address an audience of diverse origins. Today, it has proven itself as a training organisation for universities, Belgian and foreign bars, private and public companies and individuals from all professional backgrounds. It remains a pioneer as a service provider supporting organisations and individuals in the conflicts they face, through facilitation, conflict coaching, or mediation.
