This type of mediation applies as soon as one of the parties to the process is a legal person under public law. This may concern civil service litigation but also public procurement litigation or any dispute with a municipality, a CPAS/ OCMW, etc. Attention should be paid in such cases both to the specific applicable legal framework and to the appropriate mediation methodology.
This training is intended both for people who have already followed a “foundational” mediation training and for public service employees or any person who has to negotiate with public authorities who has not followed the so-called “foundational” training. This training has two components:
– Component 1 (3 days) is aimed at people with no training in mediation, in order to give them an initial introduction to the mediation process, to make them aware of the approach adopted in this mode of conflict resolution.
– Component 2 (8 days) is intended to complete component 1 and to provide to Component 1 participants and to mediators already trained in mediation with the content required to obtain the accreditation.
part 1: 3 days and/or part 2: 8 days
